Our Story
Mortgage lending can be clearer, more human, and easier to navigate. Too many borrowers get lost in a maze of jargon, voicemail, and surprise fees. Brad Siebert and Jay Heckendorn-Telenda wanted to build something different — a mortgage experience built on clear communication, fast execution, and the kind of personal attention that big banks forgot how to deliver.
Based in Altamonte Springs at 283 Cranes Roost Blvd, we serve all 50 states. We're part of Presidential Bank Mortgage (NMLS# 421593), which gives us access to a full range of loan products — conventional, FHA, VA, USDA, jumbo, new construction, and more — while keeping the small-team responsiveness that our clients love.

Jay Heckendorn-Telenda
VP, Non-originating Branch Manager
Jay leads the Altamonte Springs branch, supporting the team and coordinating a responsive client experience. As a non-originating branch manager, he connects buyers and homeowners with the appropriate loan officer for their mortgage needs.

Brad Pratt brings deep expertise and a client-first mentality to the We Are Beyond A Bank team. He's focused on making sure every borrower gets clear guidance, responsive communication, and a smooth path to closing.
